Faculty
We take our teaching seriously and believe that the most important aspect of a school is the quality of their faculty where a child is comfortable and having fun while learning, the child is able to grasp the subject much more efficiently. We make sure it is the right person for the right job at all times. Hence we employ a two-pronged approach to get best teachers for our students.
Our faculty is an Inspiration & Mentor to our learners. They encourage, engage, lead and motivate them to exercise curiosity and inquiry. They have been trained to specialize in teaching and counselling to act as a mentor and guide to provide emotional support to students when required. Our educators instil a quiet respect instead of fear among the learners, thereby developing a close bond with them. Our teacher student ratio is as low as 1:30 to ensure greater individual guidance
Professional Development for School Teachers-Teacher Training Programs
The world is changing and is more uncertain than ever before. We believe innovation is the key factor in evolving to an integrated and learner-centred teaching pedagogy.
As per NCF 2005 a teacher must become a facilitator of children’s learning in a manner that helps them to construct knowledge and meaning. At the same time, it is important for School to provide possibilities for the teacher to participate in the construction of syllabi and teaching-learning materials. Such roles demand that teachers should be equipped with an adequate understanding of curriculum, subject-content and pedagogy.
A teacher needs to be constantly evolving, upgrading, adapting, engaging, imagining, creating and learning modern techniques. These are key resources in a knowledge-driven economy and, as educators, we realise that we must take up the mantle and educate for tomorrow.
Schools of JGI firmly believe in the continuous professional development of all its employees right from the leaders of its various schools that are spread across Pan India to their staff – whether teaching or non-teaching.
During Pandemic we had to adapt and evolve immediately in order to not hamper the —-continuous professional development that the network aims to provide to its members. The duration of the lockdown was invested in developing leaders and teachers to not only cope with the situation at hand but also to enhance their existing skills and systems through numerous virtual training programs.

We have put together some measures for our senior learners, in order to ease their progression from school to college or university. Career guidance starts in grade IX. At this stage, learners are encouraged to learn about and get information of various job profiles. This helps them to develop an awareness of the world of work.
Our school engages a guidance counselors who play a significant role in the lives and futures of the students they work with. The guidance counselors organize, plan and conduct an aptitude-interest-personality test to advise IX /X and XI/XII graders on curricular or subject choices and possible career paths.
The college counselors provide an insightful direction to senior school learners. They are responsible for guiding all aspects of the college search and admissions process, including the following:
Meet students, individually as well as in groups, in order to make them understand the enrollment process and individual college choices.
